File Name As content of a Feild in Form

Hi Gurus,

I had a requirement , When i click on the Save option in the Form , I need to get the File name as Value Of a Feild in the Form...!

i more doubt is there any way to disable the Save Option in the Form...??

First question about changing the file name was asked before. I don´t remember any suitable answer/ solution. Try the search to prove me wrong.

Aout the second one: You can hide the toolbar (search for the way how to do it), but the user is always able to turn it on again. There is nothing bulletproof for this.

Hope someone from SAP takes a look here because these requests (getting/setting filename upon Save or using Save As option) and disabling only certain buttons from Toolbar (like Save, Print) keep on coming from many customers and SAP should provide a functionality to achieve it.

Because for some customers these so called "small" requirements can become show stopper and drive them to a conclusion that Adobe Forms is not a good technology.

Would you suggest to use Ideaplace for this?

I had a discussion with Kuhan Milroy who cares about the IP and he told me that this is just a beginning and not all the internal SAP teams which work on products/ services come to Idea place. I am afraid we will have to wait a little more to get th Adobe forms on board. But let´s not forget about it, let´s try.

Hahaha, funny:)) I can recommend Idea place to everybody. Especially the challenge of improving SCN (at least suggest improvements) seems to be attractive. I am only afraid that some of the guys, who visit the IP, will not have enough patience to see the first fruits. Idea place is in a BETA stage, but the Jive engine is in ALPHA stage. So the major improvements will come and will make IP much better. If you can spread the word and explain why this does not work 100% (90% is enough for me in a BETA stage...), it could help gather some attention and especially KEEP IT for some time (+patience).
