Purge the content of this data providor?

I have an confusion.

I have a webi report based on bex query.

I am purging the data and getting the prompt message mentioner below.

"Purge the content of this data providor?"

Will it purge webi data only? Or it will make any effect in bex? It is production so i was a bit worried,
