NWBC problem with document approval

Hi all gurus,

we're facing a strange behaviour on an SRM 7 system; when an approver selects a workitem from NWBC, buttons on top (like Approve, in example) are disabled and in the message notification area a problem "No default action found for task TS40007980" arise.

Messages are properly:

"No default action found for task TS40007980 " for Contracts, and

"No default action found for task TS40007974" for Purchase Orders.

This happens only when we work under the Netweaver Business Client. When the same operations are done from Portal, no message occours and buttons are correctly enabled.

We tried to search for specific notes or threads in the forum but without success.

Can anyone give us an hint/suggestion on how to solve it?

    Hi Matteo,

    Gonna give this a shot. Did you maintain table SSM_CUST and specifically configured the 'ADD_MENU_DETAILS' parameter there to 'YES' ensuring additional features in role maintance are activated (PFCG)?

    And a counter-question:

    - What NW version is your SAP SRM server on, 7.01 or 7.02 already? If 7.01 have you been able to use the NWBC 3.0 GUI application (not the HTML/web-version) to connect directly with the SAP SRM ABAP server?

      Hello T.

      If I want to maintain parameter ADD_MENU_DETAILS it is not in available the input help. I type in this parameter and the value YES manually. I have saved it but in transaction PFCG there is no "SAP Intern" menu added.

      Do you have any idea what is the reason for this? Maybe parameter is not maintained or should I do additional things that the new settings will be available in PFCG?
