Overwritten Files doesn't Refresh

Hello,

We are on MII 12.1.7 build 47

I created a PDF file, stored within workbench under certain folder and also was able to open that file from browser via url.

Now I will overwrite the same file and when I open it from browser it still shows the old file not the newly overwritten file.

Interestingly, If I simply export the overwritten file to my desktop and open it then I can see the new data

I went through below thread having similar issue but it appears this thread has not been answered.

I am wondering is it the problem with MII or is there any mechanism that will refresh the file in workbench whenever it is overwritten.

Any suggestions will be of great help

I think this is more of a browse caching issue. To test try deleting all temporary internet files and opening the file from the browser again.

You can try appending a timestamp to the end of the url ( //my.pdf?1232433...) to fool the browser into thinking its a new file.
