Dear Experts,

In MMBE we have unrestricted stock of 18600 but sales order getting confirmed for only 560 we have
checked relevant master data and config settings from SD .

This stock came from process order in the process order in the commitment field we havce seen 560 quantity
instead of 18600 sales order getting confirmed for this 560 only which is being shown as committed quantity in the
process order.

Could you please suggest how this committed quantity impacting unrestricted stock availability.

Hello,

Please share screen shot of MD04 and CO09.

Or you can test it other way around, if you have an another open sales for same material then unconfirmed it and then try to do the confirmation of this sale order which is partial confirmed, where ATP confirmation quantity are less.

Brahmankar,

Here is the complete on the issue
Pprocess order was created with 186000 quantity in which 1700 is committed quantity in the process order .
Step2. After they did GR with 101 movement type with ref to above process order.

Step3. They transfer the stock from qi to unrestricted with movement type 321. now stock 186000 is appearing as unrestricted.
Step4: When they create sales order only 560 getting confirmed even 186000 available as unrestricted.
Step5: as the issue is not solved they removed stock to remove stock they created a new process order for 186000 this process order having committed quantity as 560 with reference to this process order they did GI with movement type 261.
But here we observe 560 quantity getting confirmed in the step 4 and same quantity getting committed in the step5 new process order (which is created to remove to do GI from unrestricted )

My suspicion is in our availability check incl dependent req checked i thing it has some impact on confirming quantity

can i check component material availability for this particular sales order or process order .

Hello,

Committed quantity in production or process order depended upon the component material availability.

If all components are available according to the ATP check components then you will have full committed quantity for order.

I don't think the process order committed quantity has to do anything with sale order confirmation.

First check the CO09 for the Material and Plant with Checking Rule A what is cumulative quantity available.

Unrestricted stock of 18600 but sales order getting confirmed for only 560

Also check if sale order is in make to stock (Unrestricted stock) segment. If it in MTO segment then check process order availability date and quantity.

Hi Kumar,

Run CO09 availability situation to check the ATP quantity allocation to the sales order and it gives more detail about ATP check against the stock, receipts and requirements.

Commitment Date

The overall commitment date is determined by the material availability check (only if ATP logic is used for the check).

It specifies the earliest date by which the complete order is to be produced (depending on the availability situation at the time of the last availability check).

The overall commitment date is calculated by calculating for all material components that were checked how many days they will be available after their requirements date. The overall commitment date is calculated from these delays and from the basic finish date of the order.

Committed quantity

Committed quantity for process order according to ATP check components.
