How to write off the blocked stock from system

Dear All,

I have a stock at blocked stock, which is not in a condition that can be used anywhere. Now I want to write off the stock i.e. I want to make stock zero. What will be the best way to do this.

Hi Tejas,

There are so many discussions available in this forum about your question.

We can remove the stock from system using scrapping process by using below movement types.
551 - Scrapping stock from Un-restricted
553 - Scrapping stock from Quality
555 - Scrapping stock from Blocked

Some companies follow scrapping process through Quality notifications.
