Budget Report in other currency than FM Area Currency

Dear Experts,

We have requirement to development Budget Consumption Report in US$ but our FM area is in AED. SAP Standard System does not update the FM Values in different currency rather than Co Code Currency / FM Area Currency. Is there any workaround or SAP Note/Article which can explain this.

Hi,

If USD is not a currency of FM area, then you have to develop your own report. It is the same story with any SAP financial report; if the currency is not integrated in the tables/report, then obviously you cannot extract the data in it. Creating your own report would pose the questions of exchange rate timeliness, as it is not evident which exchange rate is to be applied both to budgetary inscriptions and consumptions.

Thanks Eli for the response. This is the problem if we have to make uniform exchange rate. The whole report will run on a single exchange rate. Is there any way out for this development?

Well, it is a development 🙂 I.e. you have to make an ABAP report.
