Hi,
I am doing STO between 2 plants within the same company code for material 'x'
eg 1000 supplying plant with 'eud1' storage loc
2000 receiving plant with 'usd1' storage loc
Now in eud1 i have only 1 qty of material 'x' and in usd1 i have 6 qty of the material.
I am transferring the stock from eud1 to usd1.
I created the PO and when i am trying to deliver using VL10d it is not allowing.
If in my test system i am increasing the qty of 'x' in eud1 to 2, it is allowing me to deliver 1 material.
My question is; Is it not possible to do an STO between 2 plants within the same company code if only 1 material is there in supplying storage location.
Regards,
Anand
Hello Anand,
You can carry out stock transfer between two plant even though they are in same company code. Check following link where you will find complete configuration. If you can post error message that will help to look into details

Check buliding block J51 for internal stock transfer

Hi Friends,
I got the root cause of the problem. Actually the user had created a STO for the same material for the same supplying plant.
Until the PGI is done, which was 1 did not come down to 0.
He then created another STO, for which he tried to create the delivery for which it gave an error. he got it because already the stock has been reserved through the earlier STO.
CO09 gets updated only when a delivery has been updated. Still am open for comments from you.

Anand

Check is there any reserved qty for that plant.
