BI 4.2 SP05 Fiori Launchpad Via actual URL

Hi All,

Recently we have deployed BI 4.2 SP05 in our platform. Hence we planned to start using Fiori Launchpad for users.

While we trying to access the Fiori page, we can able to access it via IP address whereas we can't able to access it via actual platform URL.

Via IP: If we access via IP address it takes us to login page and once we done the login we can able to access the Fiori page.

Via Actual URL: if we try to access via normal platform URL it taking us to login page, once we provide the credentials and click enter it hangup in white page and no progress after that.

Make a hosts file entry on your machine for the Server hosting the URL.

Run simple HTTP trace (Browser Dev tools) of working login and non-working and compare.
Most likely, you need to fix DNS or hosts file entries or you need to adjust restful url.

Check URL in CMC ->Applications->RestFul Webservices

if it is WACs -> Check WACS is running

If you are using https then configure WACS to https or change the URL in CMC to tomcat.

Guess you have to change / check the Access URL for the RESTFul Web Service in the CMC (Applications - RESTFul Web Service - Properties)
