Problem in Mailsender and swapbean

Hello,

I have a IDOC -> Mail scenario which works fine.

Until now I have used mail package and the IDOC was filled into the content of the mail.

Now I have switched off MAILPACKAGE (as recomended by SAP) and have implemented a JAVA mapping

to fill subject,.... for the mail.

But now the IDOC is not in the mail content anymore...it is an attachment on this email.

How can I bring back the IDOC into the content of the mail, because the user must read it directly and does not want to open the attachment first.

Which settings do I have to set in the adatper?

Can I use SWAPBEAN?? and how can I use it?? what is the correct sequence of the modules?

best regards

WErner

    Hi

Let me tell you what I understood . Yours is IDoc - PI - mail scenario . Now you are using mail receiver adapter .

As you are not using a mail package ,the header parameters will be fetched from adapter specific attributes .

the content of XI message will be sent as an attachment to mail , In your case Idoc will be added as an attachment

now if you donot wish to have Idoc as an atttachment

If you do not want the payload to be sent as an attachment, setContentDisposition to inline

    Hope this helps

    • Hello Ninad,

do you have any idea why it works only with

      ContentType=text/plain; name="message.txt"

      and not with application/xml; name="message.xml"

The message contains only text....but maybe later also XML
