Change of SUPERDBA password in MAXDB

Hello To all,

After changing SUPERDBA password in MAXDB and SAPSERVICED01 password on Windows 2003, i can't start SAP Instance

I have the error on SAP management console telling that :

Database: > POS(1) Unknown user name/password combination

SAP-Basis System: Initialization DB-Connect Failed, Return Code 000256

Database: Database error -4008 at CON

Any help please.

Make sure you have changed the SUPERDBA password as mentioned in the note below:

25591 - Changing the DBM, SYSDBA and DBA user passwords

And thereafter updated the xuser entries:

39439 - XUSER entries for SAP DB and MaxDB
