Hello experts,
I want to Reverse Enginnering on a SAP HANA 2.0 database for my user schema and create a diagram for tables
Unfortunately, though I can see the views in my schema I cannot see any database tables listed in
"Database Reverse Engineering" dialog screen
Is there a bug or missing any configuration or any missing authentication related with my user?
Hi,
for sure it's not a bug (at least not in 16.6 SP06 PL05), as I can see my tables. I'm assuming, you have chosen SAP HANA 2.0 Database as the models DBMS?
I did not selected "Reverse engineer using administrator's privileges" durgin the reverse.
So assuming, this has something to do with privileges. Are you connecting from PD to HANA with your Schema User?
BR,
Rafal

Thank you Rafal for response,
I realized that I selected "SAP HANA 2.0" in PowerDesigner while connecting to my SAP system
Unfortunately, my SAP system was still on previous version HANA 1.0 🙂 so the reason was this incorrect selection.
When I chosed HANA 1.0, I could successfully list database tables of my own schema
