JDBC Scenario

Hi All,

step by step of business requirement is as follows..

1) Data inserted into Header and Detail tables.

2) A report will validate the data on both tables

3) If validation is success then it will update error table. if validation fails then also update error table.

My task : PI has to insert data in to database (first header and then Detail Table) and it has to wait for some time to capture Records in error table in the same interface. (capture of records in error table can be done using Key field).

please let me know

1) BPM is necessary to complete this scenario.. if yes please come up with step by step.

2) if not please explain step by step to complete this scenario..

Regards,

Pradeep A.

    Hi,

going for BPM is depending on Validation logic, if you are going to implement validation logic in Mapping level it self then you dont require BPM, you can control logic in Mapping it self.,

You mentioned report , where this report going to execute?? Data base level?

    • Hi Supriya,

      Thank you for your Response..

Some detail solution is as follows..

      Send1(sync)

Request--> insert Header and Detail Fields

Response<-- extract Key field as responce form Header Table using JDBC Lookup.

      Send2(sync)

Request-->use that Key field in stored procedure.

Response<-- Extract records for Error Table(error table contain same Key Field).

in the above case.. can we continue this scenario with out 'stored procedure' call ? please confirm..

      Regards,

      Pradeep.

    Hi Pradeep,

Check out below blog. should be usefull. here it is JDBC to JDBC sync but same u can use for File to JDBC sync scenario as well.

    [JDBC to JDBC Synchronous|http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/weblogs?blog=/pub/wlg/14302] [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken];

What You can do is : --

    2 asynch scenarios :- 1. Sender - xi - jdbc receiver.

    2. JDBC Sender - xi - Receiver

Send Data to JDBC Table ( create a Trigger on DB level) , when ever you insert data on JDBC Table . Trigger will get fired .. and insert Correct/ Error data in other table , based on validations ...

Once data is inserted, into Validation table ....... " You can trigger another async scenario from JDBC Sender -> XI - > Receiver "

I hope this will be helpful.

    reply......
