monitor pco agent

Hi Community, got a PCo 15.2 running.It connects to an OPC UA PLC and is supposed to forward tag values on change to SAP MII.
Now and then The agent dies for some unknown reason. Instead of green bubble it shows a red rectangle with an exclamation mark in there. The windows service however shows up and running.

Wondering how I can monitor PCo? Is there a way to have PCo send the current tag values if there hasn't been a change for x seconds? I saw there is a Keep Alive parameter in the subscription but not sure how to use it.
By doing so we could raise an alert if no data has been delivered for like 1 minute and look into the issue to understand what is causing this.

Hi Marcos,

This might be happening if the quality of the tags which you have subscribed goes bad.

Next time when this happens please check for the same. ( You can check from the OPC client, based on which OPC application you are using)

Also other option you can try is to create a SAP MII transaction which is calling SAP PCo query. You can put the required validation( like value changed or not or tag quality gone bad) This transaction can be scheduled to run every x mins. Hope it helps
