Template BOM Problem

Hi All,

I have a client who is using the template BOM to call up a list of related items. Here is the problem and this problem only persists in one of the client PC. There is no constant way of reproducing this problem as it occurs randomly.

What happen is that:-

1) My client will select a parent item (Template BOM)

2) Parent item will appear along with the child items.

i.e.

Parent Item A

Child 1

Child 2

However, at random, the child items will be repeated twice. I will then get the results below:-

i.e.

Prent Item A

Child 1

Child 2

Child 1

Child 2

The child items will be repeated exactly twice and never more than that. As I have mentioned, this occurs randomly and there is no way to reproduce this problem constantly. Bear in mind that this only happens to one particular client machine. I have reinstalled the SAP Business One client on that machine but to no avail.

Any help as to why this is happening is very much appreciated. Thank you very much.

Hi Alvin........

This kind of things happens when SDK is used. I hope you have developed something for production order. Is it?

Try Disconnecting addon if its there and if you have done any customization with the help of FMS on Production Order Form then remove it and try.......

Hi Rahul,

Thank you for your reply. Fair enough that this might happen if we did develop something using the SDK for use with the Production module of SAP Business One.

However, in our case, we have never developed any add ons for this particular client and that all other machines are not acting up. It is only this particular machine and I can't seem to identify the source of the problem.

Anybody else has any other ideas? Thanks.
