Hi All,
I have an info object which is referencing the 0material characteristic. When I use the 0material object in a query, the text comes through correctly. However when I use the new object that references it in a query, only the key comes through and not the text.
I have checked that the text table is checked for medium length text in the master data/texts tab. I also checked in the master data that the text is present. I have also made sure that in the query the key and text is the setting for the value display.
Does anyone have some thoughts on where else to look?
Thanks in advance.
Found the reason why this was happening.
The material number coming in was not padded with leading zeroes.
after padding and adding the MATN1 conversion, the text is now coming through correctly.

Hi,
Check if you have maintained texts for 0MATERIAL.
Check in the reference info object if the table for texts is maintained and it refers to 0MATERIAL.

Hi,
Please check if your master data is activated. Also, you may want to change with the settings for the infoobject in the Business Explorer tab and see if both Key and text are maintained there. Also as suggested, try to change the Display attributes for the infoobject in the query designer to different values and cehck which works.
Hope this helps.

Snehith.

Hi,
In the Business Explorer tab of the Infoobject, change the Display to "Text".
