    Hi,

System won't check whether material is created with the storage location or not , which is given in the PO. It will check only material with the Plant. That's why SL is optional at the PO stage. Because, purchas people no need to having storage location information at the time of creating PO

But at the time doing GR, if the material is not created for the storage location then the system will give error.

So, storage location checking is mandatory at the time of GR only, not at the time of PO

It will only stop you when you are doing GR if auto storage update is not ticked. Well normally PO's are Plant based.

    Hello,

Without extending the material into storage location creating PO is not an issue, because in the PO your ordering the party to send that material to particular plant and particualar storage location, when your reciving the goods at the time if your not clicked automatic storage location creation for the particular movement type (ex.101 movement type) at the time system will give the error massage
