Precalculation of amount of data to be transferred to the receiver system

Hi SAP gurus,

Using TDMS, is there any way to precalculate the amount of space that to be utilized during a particular data transfer.

We are facing the space issues in the middle of the transfer and causing delay in meeting the deadline. Always scary whenever we plan for a new data transfer.

Could you please help.

You can calculate approximate data volume using the optional fill headers in the Phase "System Analysis" . This will only provide an approxiamtion and not the exact figure .Also this will need additonal execution time .

Activities which you need to execute additionally :

1."Fill header tables (Collective Exec.) (Optional)"

2.Calculate Access Plans (Simulation) (Optional)

3.Calculate Data Transfer Volume (Optional)
