Remove character from string

How can we create a formula to remove a particular character from a string. For example our part numbers have a space and then an extension at the end. In the example below the exention is "NEW".

Example 1234567-6 NEW

The easiest way to do this is using the "Replace" function. For your example, it would look something like this:

    replace({table.partnumber}, " NEW", "")

This will replace " NEW" with a blank string, giving you just the part number.

    -Dell
