How to define a value of type Varchar in Visual Composer

Hi All,

I have a Visual Composer application which has a Input field which accepts the variable of type Text,When I enter a value such as eg:"3333" it accepts it as a string and has no problem but when I enter a value eg:"3333E3" instead of reading it as a string it reads it as 3333 exp 10 of 3 and returns a error saying the value entered is It is reading E as Exponent

Can anybody help me in how to reslove this issue as I need to give the type of the input field in a way that it has to read what ever value I enter a string

Please advice at the earliest.

Thanks and Regards,

Nishita Salver

    Hi Nishita Salver,

Are you sure the input field is defined as text? because text fields are actually strings, and they aren't modified by any way, and shouldn't display what you are describing.

in addition, please specify your VC and runtime (flex) version.

    Best regards,
