Report issue

Hi,

Can any one suggest me on this issue . I have report in this purchaing group has been restricted with not equal HASH symbol. but iam able to see the purchasing group in output in 2007 versin and the same report other persons who have 2003 version unable to see the purhasing group in output level.

Hi Krishna,

What is the exact problem with your report.?

As per your post i concluded that you had excluded the # values from the report for purchasing group.so that in the report it will not display the purchasing group values with #.

Now can you give more info reg your issue?

there is no issue at reporting design and data . iam able to see the purchasing group infoobject in output level in my system . if i go other system the purchsing group infoobject is not displaying in other system .can you suggest me on this issue.

Hi,

When you run the report, do you have also have a variable on the Purchasing group?

If you do, and if user enters " * ", the treatment of assignment is different in 7.0 and 3.5 frontend.

From selection option, you will need to chose " * " instead of " = ".

This is just something i thought might cause the problem.

May not be the problem is your case. But please check.

Issue already solved .thank you very much for your reply and issue belongs to user executing the report 3.x analyzer instead of BI.7
