SG Public Sector- Leave proration

Former Member

Hi,

My client leave entitlement is following the Singapore Public Solution, which mean the leave entitlement start date is from 1st April to next yr 31st March.

My question now is, when an employee joining at 10th May, base on standard SAP leave proration (active day/365* the entitlement) =(326/365*14)=12.5 days

I have set the base entitlment V_T559E as below:

Constants = 14 days

related to period = accrual period

in Table V_T559L, my setting is

accrual period tab: I choose other period which store the client FY period from 1st Apr to 31st March

accrual entitlement tab: I chose pro rata basis, select the reduction rule

When I run RPTQA00,, some how I did not get the prorated entitlement but it gives me the full entitlement.

Am I missing any configuration?

Thank you

Hi Su and Sikindar,

I have assigned reduction rule (by inactive date) and assigend the deduction rule to the quota.

The payroll parameter period (1st April to 31st March) has been set as well.

For RPTQTA00 start date is 1st April and end date is 31st March

Any other config I have missed out?

Thank you

Annie

Hi,

What is the radio button you have selected table V_T559L under accural period tab.

Please try by selecting Daily or monthly...

HI Sikindar,

Thanks for you info.

Need clarification from you

1. have checked the tab prorate icon in T559L

-are you saying check the pro rata basis at the accrual entitement tab(I double click the Annual leave rule at table T559L)? Or there is another prorate tab?

2. configured the quota period as Financial year

-This quota period is refering to the set base entilement period?(V_T559E) I have change to FY

2.and chcked the same in Validity and deduction interval

I have change to FY

Unfortunately, after the changes, RPTQTA00 still give the full entitlement.

Thank you

Hi Lim,

Please see if you have attached Reduction Rule, Deduction rule, Rounding rule and counting rule correctly to the Quota.

Mostly Reduction rule and deduction rule is an issue.

Regards,

Prabha
