How to import business views of boe3.1 in CR2008?

Please let me know how to import business views of boe3.1 in CR2008? I have already referred the business views administrator guide but there is no mention of how to include business views in CR2008. I have exported them to xml file. But how do I use it in CR 2008. If I select xml file as data source, then it asks me for schema (.xsd ) file in CR2008 So, please tell me in detail as to how to solve my problem.

Regards,

Grace

After selecting the New Standard report, Create New Connection tree will be listed which has the different kind of Data Source listed.

Expand the Create New Connection, and 'Repository' will be listed. Once selecting the option a prompt will be displayed to enter the BOE CMS details.

Enter the BOE details which you have installed ie, XI3.1 and make sure that you have saved the BV's to the XI3.1 enterprise.

Hi,

If the Business Views created are saved to the BOE Enterprise Repository then in CR2008 select Repository option in the new report Data Source list.

Enter the BOE CMS and Login details then the list of Business Views saved to the BOE repository will be listed.

By using BV's you can create the Reports.

Hey! Noor,

I do not get any option of repository in datasources. Am I using the wrong version? I also do not know the path of my repository of boe3.1.

Thanks
