Dear check the required MRP master data exist for B matrial or not?
In header material A in MRP4 view check MRP dep.requirements it should be blank if it is 1 it won't plan for it's components.
Check and Revert.
Cheers

Please check following thing
1) Are you maintained Mixed MRP indicator 2 in MRP 3 view
2) In MRP 4 Are you maintained MRP dep requirement as 1, if yes change it to blank
3) Check the MRP type for Material B, IF its ND, system won't plan
4) check the validity of the BOM compare with basic start date of Plan order A, Check with Entry + 3 month from current date and check whether plan order is created or not
5) check selection method for BOM, are you maintained 3- selection only by Production version- are you maintained PV for A

Hi
Please chek if you have already set value 2 in the field 'Mixed MRP' in the material master of the finished goods.
Please do not set any strategy in the dependent material.
Best.
