TIme out error in MB56

Hi MM Consultant

i have two material code and for 1 material code MB56 working fine but for 2nd material code ABAP run time error TIME OUT is coming. pls tell me where is the problem.

is there any SAP note for the same

i dont want to increase time limit for user

    Hi,

    Might be due to Mis mathes in data entred, are you correctlty entering the Material plant and batch when executuing the report.

    If so check your selection settings below in MB56 .

    • try it yourself

      execute with expansion level 1

      then with 2

      then with 3

      then with 4

      and you will see what SAP does

      example (maybe different for your material) , Chemical package material.

      Level 1 is the batch number of the packaged chemical material itself.

      Level 2 is the order that was used to pack this batch

      Level 3 has the batch number of the bulk material that got packed in level 2

      Level 4 has the order that was used to produce the bulk material

      Level 5 has the components with its batch numbers

      Level 6 has the order that was used to produce this component batches
