Customize Business One

What can we do on customization of Business One? Can we create new function? How do we customize? Customize using Abap as well as R/3?

The customization in B1 can be used using Tools as follows:

    1. user defined field

    2. user defined value

    3. user defined table

    4. programming using SDK code

Point 1. is to add the additional field that is not available in B1. Point 2. is using SQL server but must include the B1 user defined value code in B1. Point 3 is to create table that is used to record additional data.

Point 4 is to create form, create document or button through DI API (SDK code)

    Hi Muhammad.....

You can not customize B1 with respect to R/3 tools as ABAP Programing. B1 has its separate customized tools like SDK. You can develop addon with. net coding using SDK tools. You can create no. of User Defined fields here. There many integration tools available now like B1iSN for user defined objects, Crystal Report integration, B1i Integration for Dashboards and many more........

    Hi,

Yes you can do customization of SBO for this you have to use VB.net, CSharp.net with SAP Business One SDK (The SAP Business One SDK enables partners and customers to extend and change the functionality of SAP Business One to create industry specific functionality, develop missing functionality, and interfaces with third-party tools.)

    Thanks

    Sachin
