installing SAP Netweaver BPC onto a shared oracle environment

We are currently running a shared physical server runing multiple instances of non-SAP Oracle databases.

To cut our costs we want to install the Oracle database onto the shared server but the issue we have is the standard on here are not SAP standard.

Can we create an Oracle database using non-sap standard and then attach to and run in installation for SAP Netweaver BPC ?

    Hi,

I would not recommend you to install it with non-SAP recommended way. Because if you will face some problem then you will be alone as SAP will not support. Second, which version BPC you are trying to install (Netweaver or Microsoft version) ??

    Thanks

    Sunny
