Cost center Assignment

Hi Gurus

Can anyone tell me how to assign Cost center to a Person?

I am trying to assing through PP01 is it Right way?

you have to assign it through IT0027 from PA30 not through PP01

if you want to assign from OM side you have to go with PP01 in case of Person 0027 Cost Distribution

HI Assignment of cost centre is done in two ways

in OM

you can assign to org unit and position ( through pp01)

in PA

through pa30 use infotype 0027 cost distribution to assign cost centre.

If you are trying to attach a cost centre via OM, you need to relate a cost centre to the employee's org unit or position.

This can be done via relationship A011 to object type K (cost centre).

Then, if your integration between OM and PA is setup correctly (PLOGI ORGA in T77S0) the cost centre will flow through to the employee.
