HCM Forms and workflow issue. Design time ne

Hi

I am working on HCM Process & Forms. Here our FORM in design time is complete and workflow is also complete. While exection its taking lot of time more than an hour and finally ending up with error 'Workitem not found, verify workflow log'.

But workitem is created. I am not seeing the APPROVE or REJECT in the form.

Can any one please give me some resolution for this.

    Hi Raj,

    I am sure this error, most of the times is because of the issue in Case Management. I would suggest to verify that and also the process consistency.

      Hi,

      First you have to check the case management for HCM workflow's.

      SCASE transaction is used for CASE Management. It needs some authorization to create a CASE entry here. Also for Case management Number entry's shoukld be maintained in SPRO.

      Once the CASE management configuration are done, check with SAP_ALL authorization. If it is working fine then you need to remove the SAP_ALL for user and you need to give the all requirements authorization's to user's.

      ASR_CONT is a mandatory auth object for case management.

      Also in workflow point of view you need to do some setting's. Check the standard HCM forms workflows and Check the SAP Help also.

    Hi Venkata,

    I have no experience with FORM (sadly) but I get concerned when a workflow takes a long time to execute.

    Have you run SWUD on your workflow? Are other workflows running well? is your WF runtime environment all set?

    I would try to eliminate that pesky delay in processing first.

    Also, what is the error message number? That is often helpful in trouble-shooting.

    Hi Raj

    What i think that some data from the form to workflow is going in infinite loop. So what i suggest attach the form without data. Test you are getting the workflow is proceed with next step. If this is success then it seems to be error in the data only. Just try this way.

    It is difficult to identify what is wrong unless you change the workflow so that it helps you trouble-shoot the problem.

    Did you test your form using HRASR_TEST_PROCESS or directly in Portal? You can always check the contents of the form inside the workflow template using task TS17900110 to see what data the form actually contains.
