How can i define length for Key figures.

Hi Atul,

You cannot give the length for the Keyfigures.

You can just select the DataType of the Keyfigure like Amount, Quantity etc. But you can change the settings like Decimal Places in the "Additional Properties" tab.

Hi

There is a Keyfigure which has length 13 so i have decimal places as 0.000 and Display as 1,000,000,000

so this is correct to define the length 13 for this key figure?

All the amount and quantity fields are 17 length with 3 decimals... that should be sufficient

if you are concern with the decimal numbers, then you can select check box for the key figures with maximum precision.. its on the additional property tab

For a KEYFIGURE u cant define the length only for characteristis u can display.

When u make the key figures u have to define the type, length and text there. These are mandatory fields.
