why route schedule not applied?

We have a route schedule, the STT is 48 days, the route is also 48 days, this route schedule works good. This route schedule is used in STO.

Now we change the route days to be 58 days, and also change the STT on route schedule to 58, then route schedule would not be applied on the STO. We change the route schedule STT to be 57 (1 Day less than the route days), it automatically be applied in the STO again.

Experts, could you explain why? why when both are 48 days it works, and both changed to be 58 days, then does not work? it seems nothing else is different, except the days.

    Hello Nina

    Not an expert on this subject, but take a look at the following OSS notes, especially 146829 : It says that 'The specific transit time is not the same as the transit time of the route'. I still wonder why it worked when both are 48 days, Factory calendar ( working days) also may be playing foul sometimes.

    Also there is a correction OSS note.

    Hope this helps.

      Thank you both!

      I later on found the problem is because the new days on route schedule make the receiving date into Saturday, which is a non-working day. Our Good issue date is Thursday, when the STT =48 days, the receiving date is working day, but if we change to 58 days, the receiving date would then always be Saturday, that is why the route schedule determination fails.

      This problem is exactly as Notes 1363175. So we can implement this notes to fix the problem.

      Thank you very much for the help!

    Check from a customer master unloading point receiving hours.

    Delivery date from route schedule must fit to the time range of customer receiving hours

    In summary must be missing something from the following:

    1) Activate the route schedule for shipping point;

    2) Delivery Route schedule determination for delivery type;

    3) Sales order Route schedule determination for sales documen type;

    4) Stock transfer order Route schedule determination for deliver type

    5) Also Maintained the Route schedules master data using Tcode VL51 and update Customer Master Records for Unloading points an Calendar
