Hi Sheetal,

Log Configuration depends on your XI / PI release.

Seeburger Adapters normally should create logfiles in the following directory

..j2ee/cluster/serverXXX/log/applications/

This is a summary for configuring log files, for details check "SAP_SeeMasterConfigurationGuide_en.pdf"

which can be found on the Seeburger CDs in the "manuals" folder.

XI 3.0/7.0

1. Configure the Log Manager to Allow Separate Log Files

a) Start the Visual Administrator of the SAP J2EE Engine.

b) Select the Server | Kernel | LogManager node and check the following property:

u2022 Set ForceSingleTraceFile to no and save the modifications.

u2022 Edit SingleTraceFile_UnrestrictedLocations and add com.seeburger.

2. Configure the Log Level

a) Select the Server | Services | Log Configurator node.

b) Select the Locations tab to configure the log level of the adapter specific location.

This log location is used by the adapteru2019s JCA layer for tracing. The various SEEBURGER

adapters write to their own location. " com.seeburger.xi.<adapter_name>

c) Select the u201CCategoriesu201D tab to configure the log level of the following categories:

Applications|ExchangeInfrastructure|AdapterFramework|ThirdPartyRoot|SEEBURGER|<adapter_name>

Logging and tracing are integrated in the SAP J2EE logging system.

They can therefore be configured with the SAP NetWeaver Administrator.

The following steps are required to configure the logging.

1. Allow SEEBURGER adapters to use their own trace files (Disable single trace file).

2. Create a log formatter

3. Create log destinations (single trace files) and assign appropriate formatters.

4. Create logging categories/locations for the SEEBURGER adapters and assign appropriate destinations.

5. Configure the log level within the NetWeaver Administrator

Daniel
