User Administrator

HI

Is there any way to set up a B1 user administrator (create new users, reset passwords, assign/modify authorisations) without assigning him/her as "superuser" which implies to give access to everything? I know that (s)he might assign the necessary authorization to him./herself but this would be easier to detect.

In B1, the super user is the B1 administrator that responsible to create new users, reset passwords, assign/modify authorisations. Without a super user, we can't do B1 administrator job. So, you must assign superuser to the b1 administrator user to achieve that goal.

So no way of preventing this user administrator to view all financial posting of the company and e.g initiate payments to his own, previously created account? Or less criminal, changing data by chance in clicking the wrong button?

Hi,

You can prevent the super user to create or update document using SBO SP TN but for viewing financial posting, we can't do nothing.

The only one solution is to assign the super user to the BOD members. So, when the IT man need to do administration job, he must request the user code and password to the BOD

Well, not very satisfying, but so be it. I am just reluctant to give a user admin all access rights or bother the CFO with user admin stuff. Thanks anyway
