How to do calculation based on cumulated values of a Key Figure

Dear Friends,

I have a doubt regarding calculated on key figure on which i have applied the property CUMULATED . For example i have a key figure A as below :

A A(Cumulated) C = A(Cumulated) * 2

1 1 1

2 3 6

3 6 12

4 10 20

The correct output is in C column . But i am get the output as 1 4 6 8 . That is calculation are happening based on the original values of the key figure and not on the cumulated values of the key figure.

Kindly suggest on this.

Hi Ashutosh, I guess BEx has some limitations. If you are using sum/aggregation, its does not refer with the standard aggregations for KFs, as these formulas/CKFs can't be used in other calculations with cummulative property as a derived value. However on a sidenote this is possible in Webi calling certain methods. In BEx, a cummulated value is only a visible indexing & is not physically availiable for usage in formulas. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks!
