Installing HDB Server : Error. libnsl.so.1. Cannot open shared object file.

Hi,

I am installing SAP HANA Express binary version with system spécifications Memory 32 GB, CPUS 4, HDD 120 GB on VMware with Redhat Fedora 29 Server.Following all the steps i have successfully downloaded the respective version and extracted files but when i try to install sap HANA using command sudo ./setup_hxe.sh i get following error :

Failed to install HDB Server

/root/saphanafiles/HANA_EXPRESS_20/DATA_UNITS/HDB_LCM_LINUX_X86_64/instruntime:sdburn : while loading shared libraries : libnsl.so.1 : cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory.

Can anybody point out what i am doing wrong here.

Hi,

This package libnsl.so.1 is missing. To get past this just install the libnsl.so.1 package.
