what jco version in sap j2ee?

Hi to all,

I want to create a web application on sap j2ee server but i'm not very experienced about the sap j2ee world.

downloaded sapjco3 standalone but i 've read in another sdn topic that i must not use the standalone version in sap j2ee because the jco it's integrated.

What version is integrated? jco2?

Can i use jco3 version adding the external sapjco3.jar in my application?

thanks

Alessandro

      Alberto is right.

Starting with AS Java release 7.10 the JCo3 is additionally integrated.

With AS Java 7.0x you are limited to use JCo2.

You may never install or deploy any JCo standalone distribution in a SAP AS Java instance.
