Hi Experts,
We are about to implement HR module in our company, but before that, I need to upload first the Legacy Payroll Results as what what said in forums and links that i have visit, in line with this, I just want to clarify, Do I need to upload Payroll results per periods? then run payroll driver?
ex. An employee was hire last January 2010, do i need to upload his/her payroll results per period and then run the payroll driver? OR i can just simply upload one time his payroll TOTALS from January up to current and run one time the payroll driver?. Pls help and give me some idea on this.... thank you very much.
Short answer is upload period by period and run the payroll driver with a special schema.
Please search the service.sap.come site for detailed documentation in this area as it is critical that all the steps are clearly udnerstood and carried out in a certain sequence, also the data requirements need to be understood and the data prepared correctly.

We only uploaded the "Year to date" information from the legacy system and processed payroll through the special "conversion" schema (KLKL in Canada).
The Old Payroll Results were uploaded into RT, CRT and TCRT for all critical WTs required for year-end process, and everyone had to live with some cumulations that covered the whole year (such as Income Tax deducted) and some that only started with the first pay processed in SAP (such as Benefits deductions).
