TO with Multiple Handling Units

Hi ,

We have WM and HU implemented at our end.

We are in receipt of ONE batch of material packed in different HUs .. Like total received Qty 30 of batch say T1 but the material is packed in three different HUs say 001 , 002 and 003.

While creating TO against the inbound delivery for material Put-Away , system created three different TOs each of one HU.

Wondering if we have some setting by which we can create single TO for above case. (1 TO with 3 HUs).

In other process, if we PICK different HUs of same material-Batch from warehouse against an Outbound delivery using PICKING TO , system creates single TO with three HUs :-((

Like if we have 30 Qty of material X and Batch T2 available in warehouse and we create a Picking TO , system creates SINGLE TO with 3 HUs.

Wondering what is the configuration to control such functionality ?

You can generate putaway transfer-orders for inbound deliveries or for handling units. If there is more than one handling unit in the inbound delivery, the putaway transfer-order is split up in such a way that one transfer order is always generated for each handling unit. Note that you can create transfer orders both before and after goods receipt is posted in inventory management.
