Dear Gurus,
1. Does the technical name of the BPC generated multiprovider change during the full optimization?
2. If I create a query based on the multiprovider, does this query become invalid after the name change ?
3. Anyone have created this type query and running without any issue after the full optimization?
Your input highly appreciated
Thank you
Hi,
No, that name doesn't change in Full Optimizations. It even doesn't change when underlaying Application changes. BW query on which EVDRE is working is based on that MultiProvider.
I hope this answers all your 3 questions:).

Which is not to say that it is a good idea to create BW queries on the multi-provider or the virtual cube BPC creates for GRC integration My understanding is that building customer development (including BEx queries and BW transformations) dependent on objects that BPC generates in the BPC namespaces is not supported, so I do not recommend that people do this.

Thanks for the feedback.
I have simulated the above scenario and found that , the name of multiprovider do change after the optimization.
When i transport a query from dev to qa the transport fail as the multiprovider name could not be found in qa system.
So conclusion, better not to use this method...
thanks guys
