cohv for confirmations

My client wants to process the automatic final confirmation for all production orders together at the end of the day u2013 to include the backflush of the components.

CO12 isnu2019t very user friendly u2013unless someone can tell me how to get a list pulling in of all the orders available to be confirmed rather than typing them all in indvidually?

So I prefer COHV where I can run a selection of all orders ready to be confirmed and use mass processing.

However, if I use this, then the goods movements always end up in COGI due to batch determination. Can the batch determination be triggered automatically?

Try to assign Batch in Production order itself for the component By maintaining Batch search strategy in COB1 and maintain sort rule in CU70

Batch determination is possible automatically for componenets and production order .

    Basic Set up :

1.Material master -MM02-MRP2 View -Batch Entry -3 and Work Scheduling view -Batch Managed marked

2.With Process Order Type and Plant , Define production scheduler profile via transaction OPKP in the Batch Management tab, Keep the option 2

"Autom. batch creation in the order" - No automatic batch creation in production/process order

1 Automatic batch creation at order creation

2 Autom. batch creation at order release

Thanks for your help and your time.

I had the batch search strategy already set up (with no sort code as there are no characteristics). what I'd forgotten was OBJ2... to switch on automatic batch determination at plant level.
