DataSources Missing from ECC RSA5

Hello All,

Ours is a newly built ECC system - SAP ERP 6.0 (EHP4 Ready).

In the T-code RSA5, we are unable to find some datasources eg: 0FC_BP_ITEMS, FKK_BW_RD, FKK_BW_WLI etc.

Please advice what the issue might be and how it can be resolved.

Hi,

Just go to RSA5, open the datasource list tree by Clicking on + button, then use search option to get the datasource.

May be you need to activate the industry extension in ECC system to be able to see your datasources?

Anyway you can check this note

And have you transferred application components hierarchy in rsa9 (Since this is absolutely new ECC system)?

I transferred the application component hierarchy from RSA9 now - the datasources still dont show up.

You have writen about activating the industry extension in ECC - could you tell me how that is done?

I'm not sure if this was the reason it's better to consult with basis guys of what exactly components are installed.

But I did a comparison on two source systems

1 system . In rsa5 mentioned datasources are not available. Compoment info says

FI-CA release 600 level 18

FI-CAX release 600 level 18

2 system. Your datasources are available in rsa5. System info

FI-CA release 603 level 5

FI-CAX release 603 level 5

Check info on what exactly installed on your system -status-component information-find your components there.

Thanks for the advice. that indeed was the cause - datasources were missing due to Enhancement Package version.

However, were you able to find the Datasources 'FKK_BW_RET', 'FKK_BW_RD' and 'FKK_BW_WLI' in your system?

I checked in a system with version as follows, but still could not find these:

FI-CA 604 (release) 0003 (level)

FI-CAX 604 (release) 0002 (level)

Hi,

I don't have these 'FKK_BW_RET', 'FKK_BW_RD' and 'FKK_BW_WLI' in my system, but it looks like names of the extractors not the names of datasources to me.

However I have

datasource 0FC_BP_ITEMS wich based on the extractor FKK_BW_BPITEMS_WITH_ARCHIVE

You can see on what extracotr datasource is based if open it in RSA2 (Note : datasource must be active for that).

So since you have a higher SP level you may probably find these 'FKK_BW_RET' if you activate your datasources under node FI_CA and check them in rsa2
