Hi all,

1. How to pro rate AL for Unpaid leave with subtype -05 training ?

2.AL proration should happen only if TL application exceeds 3 calendar months.?

what i understood from your answer for issue 1 is,

The configuration table T559L is used to generate automatic absence quota in infotype 2006. Is it a scedulded pgm? whts the duration?

I Could not find any entry for AL unpaid leave -with subtype 05. Absence quota types, ESG time quota types, Ps grouping, acural points ... are there in the table..Is it possible to configure AL proration for unpaid leave - with subtype 05 in T559L ? or any other additional configuration / code changes needed?

if you Annual leave unpaid is haveing Quota means than there must be a selection rule for that Absence Quota check whether any counting rule is assigned to that AL unpaid leave in table V_554S_Q table

1 . There is no counting rule or anyother thing for leave. How to prorate? Whts the starting point ?

2. Reg AL proration if training leave exceeds 3 months. ( If a persons training leave in It2001 exceeds 3 months, then we need to prorate AL)

Firstly

you want to prorate the AL unpaid leave quota only when employee Takes Training leave more than 3 months Ie in other cases you dont want to prorate right

Please let us know and one more thing if Reg AL proration if training leave exceeds 3 months means does 3 months means 90 days right

Yes. Your understanding is correct.

How to prorate AL if TL exceeds 3 months .

If Training leave consumed is less thn 3 months, no need to pro rate AL.

in that case AL is unpaid leave so the valuation rule will be unpaid in table V_554S_G table

so in that case you have to go with another specification for Processing class 10

in payroll the valuation rule is read through Paramter TKAU** so for AL you have to create another unpaid valuation rule in table T554C

and you have to write the PCR
