Batch number cannot be changed in CO02/goods receipt screen

I am facing this is question that, when i go to TCode CO02 goods receipt screen, i want to change batch number instead of current one, but batch number is gray, cannot be changed.

any valuable input will be great apperication

Is you order does staus like DLV,CNF , GMPS ??

Please check the following :

1.Remove in OPKP-Define Production Schedulingt Profile -Automatiac Batch Creation

2.Use : EXIT_SAPLCOBT_001 in SAP Standard Enhancement : PPCO0001 .You can check with your Abper for CALL FUNCTION 'VB_CREATE_BATCH' to create manual batch entry .

IF You does n't issued any material then Re read the master data for the production order and then assign New Batch Number.

Dear Please check the below authorization objects for concerned user.

Authorization object in production order change ( CO02)

M_MATE_CHG Material Master: Batches/Trading Units

M_MATE_OB Original Batch

M_MATE_ZST Material Master: Change Status of Batches

Check and Revert.

If the batch number is generated automatically you cannot change it. even if it is manual batch number once after assignment cannot be changed.

We used automatic batch creation during production order creation, but this batch number can be changed.

Confirm with your basis guy, whether they have incorporate any screen variant with in this t.code for any specific user id.

Also provide, what's the order status?
