Some times i am finding exception messages like Opening date in the past, *Reschedule in* in MD04 for some materials. What does they mean. Then what action I have to take
Can anybody explain in details on this exception messages.
Hi,
This rescheduling will happen on the definition of rescheduling horizon / tolerance value forward and tolerance value for displacement defined in the Plant parameters and via MRP Group.
In the plant parameters we will be defining which firmed elements to be taken into account for reschedulin.
Note:
Rescheduling horizon:
Part of the planning area, starting from the end of the replenishment lead time in which the system checks in the net requirements calculation whether firmed or fixed receipt elements should be rescheduled in.
Tolerance value for bringing forward receipt elements:
Number of workdays used by the system to create a rescheduling proposal to bring forward a firm receipt element that lies after the requirements date.
The system compares this tolerance value with the number of days which results from calculating the difference between the requirements date and the order finish date.
If the difference is greater than the comparison value, the system provides the receipt elements in question with an exception message and a rescheduling proposal that is based on the requirements date.
Tolerance value for displacement in the future:
Number of workdays used by the system to create a rescheduling proposal to displace firm receipt elements that lie before the requirements date.
The system compares this value with the number of days which results from calculating the difference between the order finish date and the requirements date.
If the difference is greater than the comparison value, the system provides the receipt elements in question with an exception message and a rescheduling proposal that is based on the requirements date.
Thanks,
nandha
