problem in utilization.

Dear all

While doing utilization we were facing a problem in PLA register,

To utilize all debits in u2018J2IUNu2019we donu2019tu2019have sufficient balances in excise registers like 23A and 23C,so we have to utilize from PLA register, but to get balances in PLA we need to post TR-6 challanau2019s in J1IH.

But the problem is on which date we have to post TR-6 challanu2019s.?

For TR-6 payments we can do up to next month 5th

Client has taken some entries in 5th October,

If we also take the entries in October we canu2019t do the utilization

Because of insufficient balances in PLA register

And also PLA register will update on October .

If we post in September we can do the utilization but the problem is

1) client actually do the payment in October so he want to show the actual date.

2) if any one check the register ,payment date shown as a October but post date as September.

Please guide me to do the utilization .

You can utilize from PLA account without sufficient balances. So while doing the utilization, you need not post TR6 challan. Later when you pay, you can do the payment transaction in FI and the create TR6 for that payment. For this you'll have to add the PLA account in the following path without giving the %.

IMG -> Logistics General -> Tax on Goods Movements -> India -> Business Transactions -> Utilization -> Utilization Determination.

This is done per Excise Group.
