Purchasing of component on two different price

Hi Experts,

There is a scenario at my client that they are planning to purchase the component say X . But this X will have two different price. First would be 45 INR for first 5000 EA and then after 5000 migo done , the price will be chnaged to 15 INR. In the same way the FG in which this component will be used, would also have two different sell price. For first 1250 EA ,the price would be 8 euro and then from 1251, the price would be 6 EURO.

Can we map this through split valuation? OR any other config or process we need. Please suggest all the option to map this so that it can be tracked that as the 5000 EA got MIGO then some warning should come or some tracking report.

Regards

Deepak Sharma

    Hi,

If my understanding is correct, the discount which is being offered is a volume discount but the material price remains the same.

If it is true, then this is a 2 part question & both parts are not relevant for PP directly.

Please discuss with your MM & SD consultants. This will be managed via Scales. Inform them to setup the relevant scales for the price as per your business need.

Once that is done, you proceed to raise PO & Sales documents.

If my interpretation is not correct, then please clarify.

    Regards,

    Vivek
