    Jon,

    WElcome to B1 forum.

You use this query in the SBO store procedure transaction notification to validate the good issue :

    IF @transaction_type IN ('A', 'U') AND @Object_type = '60'
    BEGIN
IF EXISTS (SELECT t0.DocNum FROM OIGE t0 inner join IGE1 on t1.docentry
    = t0.docentry WHERE t1.Prepared By IS NULL AND t0.Docentry = @list_of_cols_val_tab_del)
    BEGIN
SELECT @Error = 1, @error_message = 'Please enter the field prepared by first'
    END
    END

The query SP is pasted in the SAP B1 transaction notification in the SQL server --> B1 company database --> Programmability --> store procedures --> SBOSP Transaction_Notification.Right click the SBO_SP_Transaction_Notification --> select modify. Paste the query belows the words : Add Code here.

    Good luck
