IW21- Is there a way to Default Notification Type to User

Hello,

We have 2 different "Notification Types" 1) for (N1) General Staff 2) (N2) Operation Staff use.

Is there a way when General staff signs into SAP and run IW21 the notification will default to (N1)- General Staff.

Then if Operation staff signs in and creates a Work Notification their default notification type will be (N2)

Hi,

I don't think the QMR parameter will work.

To set a default use IW21/22 and enter past initial notification scren. Then choose menu option Extra - Settings - Control/Default values. Fill a default value of 'Notification type'. Get each user to do this.

Hello,

You can try to type the parameter QMR in the own user value data (tcode SU01). Assign different values to parameter depending on the user.
