Transport master data from a lower release to higher release ERP system

Hello Colleagues,

Greetings..

Currently we have to transfer master data from ERP 6.0 to ERP EHP 4 system. So the most of the master data are not saved in workbench requests. So can you suggest me an optimal way to transfer these master data between systems.

I cannot tranfer the data as it is, because it also has some junk data as well. So I have to select the data before I transfer it to the other system.

I tried to use the transaction SCCL, It helps in transferring data between different clients.

Which profile you have selected to perform transfer data between clients?

I have used the profile SAP_UCSV.

But in this there is no option you to select selective data, Mean you have performed full data copy.

I tried to use it.. After going through the documentation i realized that i cannot do like that, so i have stopped it.

Currently i have fresh system without any data, Now i have to start the data transfer.

Can't your functional team load the master data using LSMW or Batch input? I suggest this is the best option to get your data in correct. I dont think so its recommended to use ECC6 data to EHP4 using client copy.
