Creation of 1000 Cost Centres will slow down the system performance

Hi,

Can anyone suggest us, that if we create more than 1000 Cost Centres will there be any system/server performance issue in

SAP Business One.

    Hi,

    Have you tried to use DTW addon to create costcenter ? The cost center can be imported using DTW. The template is OPRC - profit center.

    What PL version are you using ?

    Dear Jim,

    Thanks for the info,But my questions is that if i have more than 1000 Cost Centres will there by affect on the system performance like the system becomes slow while logging into SAP B1 and When accessing the reports will it get hanged, these kind of issues, is there any chances for getting the above issues.

    Hi Vishwa,

    Your question has no standard answer. I would say yes because whenever user need to select from 1000 Cost Centres, it will slow down those transactions. Furthermore, it will continually affect system performance when you have many year history data.

    The actual issue is: what is your expectation?
